Fortnite is adding a new Spider-Man cosmetic inspired by the hero’s appearance in Spider-Man: Brand New Day, and the design has already attracted attention from players of Insomniac Games’ Spider-Man series.

The suit returns Peter Parker to a more traditional red-and-blue style and is presented as a handmade design rather than one built with advanced Avengers technology. Its simpler appearance has been praised for matching the classic friendly neighborhood version of the character.

The Spider-Man: Brand New Day skin is scheduled to arrive in Fortnite on July 31, 2026. Cosmetics based on the Incredible Hulk and the Punisher are also expected to join the game as part of the same collaboration.

Following the reveal, some fans compared the Fortnite model with the Brand New Day-inspired suit recently added to Marvel’s Spider-Man 2. Several players argued that Fortnite captured the mask shape and overall proportions more accurately, although the response remains subjective.

Spider-Man: Brand New Day is also set to reach cinemas on July 31, 2026. The film stars Tom Holland as Peter Parker alongside Zendaya, Sadie Sink, Jacob Batalon, Jon Bernthal, and Mark Ruffalo.

The story takes place four years after Spider-Man: No Way Home and follows Peter as he protects New York while investigating a new threat connected to unexpected changes in his abilities.
