Electronic Arts CEO Andrew Wilson received approximately $38 million in total compensation during the company’s latest fiscal year, according to a recent financial filing. The package included salary, bonuses, and stock-based awards.
The figure represents an increase of about $8 million compared with the previous year and is roughly 305 times greater than the reported annual compensation of EA’s median employee, which stood at $126,612.
The filing also revealed compensation packages for several other senior executives. EA Entertainment president Laura Miele received $13.7 million, chief financial officer Stuart Canfield received $11.3 million, chief legal officer Jake Schatz received $8.4 million, and chief people officer Mala Singh received $8.3 million.
Wilson is also permitted to use private aircraft for business and personal travel. EA stated that the arrangement was introduced for security reasons based on threat assessments involving the executive and his family.
The compensation figures have attracted attention because EA reduced staff across studios connected to the Battlefield organization earlier in 2026. The company described those changes as part of a wider operational realignment.
EA highlighted the financial performance of Battlefield 6 and progress in its artificial intelligence strategy as major achievements. The company’s planned acquisition by Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund has received approval from the European Commission, although the transaction has not yet been completed.
