Apex Legends Season 30, titled Marked, is bringing major gameplay changes, including a complete Bloodhound rework, new areas on World’s Edge, weapon adjustments, and a simplified looting system.
Bloodhound receives the largest update. Their passive now creates glowing enemy trails, White Ravens gain improved range, and the tactical ability provides additional scan snapshots. The ultimate has also been replaced with a device that temporarily cloaks nearby Legends until they attack, take damage, or the effect expires.
World’s Edge is receiving a darker visual theme with an aurora visible in the night sky. New and redesigned locations include East Village and Longhouse at Climatizer, War Camp at Survey Camp, and Tree Settlement. Sorting Factory is also returning, while Fragment and Landslide receive further changes.
Respawn is also reworking energy weapons and adding new Corrupted Attachments that provide stronger benefits with noticeable disadvantages. Weapon statistics will now show more clearly how attachments affect performance.
Looting is being streamlined by removing Support and Assault Bins, Explosive Holds, wildlife rewards, loot-bin resets, and several other sources. The goal is to reduce the time spent searching for ideal equipment and move players into combat faster.
Loba’s Black Market will recharge more quickly, while her tactical ability will travel farther and faster. Rampart will gain better movement while using Sheila, and her Amped Walls will deploy faster while absorbing more damage.
Respawn also confirmed that Ranked changes are now planned for Season 31, followed by another larger update in Season 32. Additional details are expected later during Season 30.
