Among Us! is the kind of game that looks almost too small to become memorable. A group of colorful crewmates runs around a spaceship, tasks appear on the map, meetings interrupt the action, and everyone starts accusing everyone else with alarming confidence. Yet after only a few rounds, I understood why it became such a recognizable multiplayer hit. The game does not rely on complex controls or huge maps. It relies on people, panic, timing, lies, observation, and the strange joy of not knowing who to trust.
